Michael Collins Piper expressed his hope for the defeat in today's Connecticut Democratic primary of incumbent warmongering Sen. Joe Lieberman. Piper noted that Lieberman started peddling conspiracy theories alleging that people supporting his primary opponent had somehow engineered the "crash" of Lieberman's campaign website. Piper noted that although Lieberman's Israeli lobby supporters in such groups as the Anti-Defamation league (ADL) are constantly crying and moaning about "conspiracy theories," Piper doubted that Lieberman would ever be criticized for concocting his own conspiracy theory, one which Piper said was as fanciful as the Bush administration's claim that 19 Arabs orchestrated the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Piper also expressed his hope for a run-off victory in Georgia by Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney who is the only member of Congress who has dared to raise questions about the government's version of 9-11 and who has also called for a congressional investigation into Israel's attack on the USS Liberty.
